Success By 6 Funding for 2009
In 2006 and 2007, Communities for Kids
(CFK), in partnership with Success By 6®, invested over $90,000 supporting early childhood development in South Okanagan-Similkameen communities. We are happy to announce that in 2008, we have awarded nearly $12,750 in new funding to support 4 early childhood development projects (see the
News
Page for a complete story on this new funding).

There are no
deadlines for
applications;
apply when you
are ready!
CFK Community Tables, community groups, and First Nations organizations in the
South
Okanagan-Similkameen are eligible to apply for project funding that promotes the optimum health and development of children aged 0-6. Project proposals must demonstrate support of childhood development in at least one of the following areas:
- physical health and wellbeing,
- social competence,
- emotional maturity,
- language and cognitive development,

communications
and general
knowledge
