Celebrating Our Successes

The Princeton Communities for Kids Table is pleased to announce the opening of the Princeton Family Center & Community Kitchen. The establishment of this new facility was made possible by a $20,000 grant from Success by 6® (a Communities For Kids coalition partner), and by grants from the Union of BC Municipalities and BC Community Action for Health. The Town of Princeton, the Princeton Teachers Union, Princeton Rotary and several Princeton residents also made generous contributions to make this project possible. The Family Center is located in Kenley Hall on Veteran's Way across from the cenotaph. Activities at Kenley Hall have begun with the opening of the drop-in centre for children aged 0 to 6 and their caregivers every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The official opening ceremony was held August 8th, 2007.
